System 2 wants to reduce it. Break it down. Make it calculable. And for some problems, that works. But the most interesting problems — the ones worth solving — resist that. They are contextual, relational, emergent. They need a different kind of attention.

System 3 thinking is structured imagination. It holds uncertainty without collapsing it. It runs scenarios forward, reads relationships across the whole, and finds decisions that are both fast and right — not one or the other.
